YouTube to CPA offer - best practises

I'm looking to jump into CPA marketing. I'm already doing really well ranking YT videos but what's the best method of sending YouTube traffic to a CPA offer?
I know most networks don't allow direct or cloaked linking. I plan to send traffic to one of my authority sites and then convert on that page.
Is there anything I should be doing to ensure maximum conversions? My concern is that YouTube to My Site to CPA offer will involve too many hops and may affect CTRs.
What are your thoughts?
