Amazon Affiliate vs CPA

Hey Warriors!

I would like to ask if there is a slight or huge difference between Amazon Affiliate and CPA offers.

I have some (although little) experience with Amazon Affiliate (AA), and I want to start CPA offers too.

As many of you know, basic principle of AA is something like this:
1) Pick a niche
2) Find products to promote
3) Complete keyword research for your keywords
4) Make a Website (WP, domain, hosting, themes, plugins + content and optimizing)
5) Make some ads
6) Generate backlinks for Amazon Affiliate site
7) Create Squeeze Page

I was wondering if CPA offers work on a similiar principle. For example, if you have a Computer Hardware niche, website must be about Computer hardware and CH products, etc. But I guess with CPA you don't have to make a website for each CPA campaign (landing page or so).

I hope there is not a post like this already. I see there are many experienced people (especially in CPA offers), so I am just curious. As I mentioned before - I want to start CPA offers too. Is there any ebook or setup (from point 1 to the final point) about CPA offers?. Thanks.

CPA can essentially include Amazon in itself as well. While technically, Amazon is PPS (Pay Per Sale), you might as well call it Cost Per Action as a sale, in my book, is an action.

You definitely still want to use a landing page for all your CPA campaigns. You could direct link, but you're CVR can suffer if you aren't targetting your ads enough.

I find thm very similar, depending on the offer - a CPA offer might be easier to convert as often the visitor does not need to pull out a payment card.

They are similar, but different at the same.

There is the same overlying concepts.

But a handful of core differences. They convert different. Turn around is faster with CPA. The Ad Networks you use are likely going to be different.

    Thing like that.

      Thanks for the answers.

I see that there are some differences. For example, as Justin said, you can do CPA even without a website - direct linking. I guess this method can be effective too, if you do more targeting tests with your ads. But I see that most of CPA marketers prefer landing pages over direct linking. I can see that there are some knowledgeable people (as far as I was able to search - Justin Dupre, Greedy, Kenster, Williamn, Chad, etc.) and it seems and you guys know what you are talking about So I guess I'm gonna search this forum more deeply and learn the CPA market.

      Again thanks for the insight.
