Adsense site banned, plan on redirecting site to a different url

So my adsense site was recently banned. One site, not the entire account. I fixed the problem and sent in an appeal, but I'm thinking of just making a new site, and forwarding my traffic from my old site to the new url. Good or bad idea? I get about 75% of my traffic from twitter and email referrals. So I could surely continue getting that traffic to my new website. But the thing is. I branded that name already and quite a few of my forum members already know it. Should I just move on and take the loss of the 25% of direct traffic that comes from that name of the original url... Or should I risk redirecting it?

ETA: I was banned for having adult images...Which was basically a relationship section with a couple in bed, and a woman covering her body with the bed sheet (I didn't show any nudity), but apparently that is "implied" nudity. I removed it from the site when they gave me a 72 hour warning message, but they found 2 similar images a day later and issued a ban to that specific site.

It really depends on what the site was banned for. If you redirect, then all that bad stuff will be applied to the new domain/new site that you redirect to.

I personally wouldn't want to redirect it to another site--I would just start over. If you have a lot of traffic to the site, though, then you might consider redirecting to a subdomain on the site so it's all not passed to the new domain.

There are chances that your new URL also get banned, So first check all the site for any possible violation of the Adsense TOS then appeal.

Agree that redirection isn't the clue in your case. Maybe you should monetize this site via some other network, that doesn't have such strict TOS. Madadsmedia or Epom...
