Finally Jumped & Just Tried CPA With POF Here Was My 2 Day Results

So I've been reading everything i can get my hands on when it comes to promoting CPA offers and honestly, i still dont have a club. But i figured id just jump in both feet and see what happens. I have spent 3 days using 7search.com and 2 days using POF. Here is my results so far if anyone can offer any insite at all.

7search i did a email submit for get paid to review products. I spent a little over $10, had 48 clicks with 1 conversion.

POF i ran a dating ad. I spent $25 and received 160,000 impressions. Out of that i receive 130 clicks with 3 conversions that earned me $13.50.

On each one i only created one ad just to see how both platforms operated. At the end of my POF one though, i did do some direct targeting, and did get 2 of my conversion for $9 total with only spending about $10.

The hard part im trying to figure out is landing pages. Can anyone provide any examples please of different types such as ones that capture the persons email first and ones where they are just forwarding people to the actual offer page?

Thanks

Have you checked out your competitions landing pages? That's honestly, the best place to start to get an idea for landing pages.

Nice to see you are reading all you can find!

These are all great results for you first campaigns. Nice work.

I would pick 1 ad network to focus on and master.

Your best for POF is create a POF personal account, and look around to see what kind of ads are out there. You can see what type of landing pages your competitors are using as well. I always like to size up the market.

Thanks for the advice. If my girlfriend caught me with a POF account she would probably kill me lol. I noticed with POF you can go through money real quick, but it allows you to test quicker. The problem to make changes, it took me about a day 2 get ads approved. Whereas with 7search you can put ads up right away, but it seems to move slower.

In your opinion if you had to pick one to start with and learn, would you start with 7search, POF, Facebook or Bing?

    Thanks

POF can also be slow to spend money...When you say quick to go through money, you mean? what kind of targeting did you go for?

Well i set my budget initially at $5 for the day and $0.16 for cpm. I had some targets on their but noticed the $5 was gone in like 10 minutes. So i then bumped it up $10 more dollars and that was spent within about 30 minutes. I then added more targets to the search for the last $10 and that took about 2 hours to spend. I did have it clicked on the spend the money asap and i guess they do lol

But if it produces, then really a small delay in approvals doesn't matter much.

That's not bad to start, the key is to optimize the campaigns to get them profitable.

For looking for landing pages I type keywords related to my niche in google and review the paid ads pages

Could of been because of the weekend.

If it is working I would not switch ad networks.

Ya i did some ads last night and they didnt get approved till late today. I also had 2 ads declined for a weight loss niche because they said the pictures contained inappropriate content. One picture was of a lady measuring her stomach and the other was of a lady in workout clothes smiling. Is this normal?

Justin, yeah... no midsection can be showing. i tried those "tape measure around the abs" pics before recently for a weight loss product... no go.

you gotta stick with pics with t-shirts or tank tops, no midsection showing.

at least that worked for me to get approved.

Thanks for the great info. I have a couple more questions please.

    1. Where is a good site to get images for pof ads? I've just been googling and double checking for watermarks.
    2. Starting out is it better to start with the 110x80 or 310x110?
    3. When I have an offer, how many diffent creatives do you start with? For instance do you start with say 4 different headlines and bodies and then like 3 different pics so a total of 12 differ ads?

    Thanks everyone!

So ive been trying to test more ads on POF and everything i submit gets denied. Im targeting a dating niche, and i submitted 16 different ads and they were all shot down. All the pictures were people covered up, they basically were all just headshots. Anyone have any ideas why or how to fix it? Im direct linking, but the dating offer is a paid site.

    Thanks
