LinkedIn is a great platform. I would recommend the following steps in order to bring in targeted traffic from LinkedIn.

1. Research Keywords you want to focus on.
2. Add those keywords to headline, summary, job profile, education, awards and honors section.
3. Build relationships
4. Join relevant groups
5. Share valuable contents on a daily basis. Best time is in the morning.
6. Endorse other's skills
7. Provide detailed recommendations...

A lot of CPA offers are popular with lower income demographics.

I don't think LinkedIn will cater to this as much, so this is they main thing I would pay attention to.
