Chrisba, Lukeperfly, kenster, greedy- HELp

Okay, so i almost understand it all- the basics of CPA marketing.

What i don't understand is, someone is recommending that you must have a single landing page if the website that you're advertising is not converting (direct linking).

My question is, do i need to learn how to code just to create and design my own landing page if direct linking method is not converting?

I've read that designs can increase the conversion of your landing page, but one of you said, that i's not necessary to have a website nor learn how to code, you mean that you're outsourcing your landing page to designers? If not, then what tools are you using to design and create your own landing page?

    There are 4 ways I recommend to make landing pages.

    I typically use #1, since it gives me the most control and is the fastest.

    1. Code them by hand.

    2. Find some good LP templates and build off them. I have some on my blog ect.

    3. Rip the offer's CSS, ect. via a tool like Httrack or SiteSucker... and build your own LP around that.

    4. Take a screen shot of a landing page you like, and use a program like Paint to make a bunch of changes to it. Then send it to an outsourced programer/designer to make it.

    At the end of the day you will need to learn some HTML and CSS if you want to make it in the long-term working in the CPA & Affiliate industry. Just kind of how things work out.

      Thanks greedy. I should really need to learn these I want CPA to be my first source of income too. LOL! btw greedy, it seems that you're always online, you are tracking your result every hour? Can you please share your average income everyday? I hope you don't mind but i want to take it as an inspiration.

        Can you please share your average income everyday? I hope you don't mind but i want to take it as an inspiration.
        Instead of asking me how much I make per day, think bigger and more long term. Don't get caught up in how much you or someone makes per day.

        Think in terms of quarters and years.

          OMG! I need to work more and read more! I have $200 or 300 as a capital here but i don't want to waste it since i'm a family guy in just 22 years old totally broke but with a high dream I will never give up no matter what happened!

    IMO you're going to be better off if you learn how to code your own lp's. If you do outsource this to somebody, you're outsourcing the design only and you will still need to come up with the content and possibly modify the coding for your links, etc.

    Also I don't believe you should ever have a single landing page, I believe in split testing across many.

      Sorry i think i've miss conveyed my question.

      I'm talking about 1 page landing page only. And yes, i will do split testing (creating 4-5 landing pages on 1 niche or offer. Thanks for your help.

          Those two softwares are quite expensive for most of starters out there but they're the best for designing/coding your own websites by yourself. If you learn them pretty good, you can design/code websites like a pro.

          I know you might kick my butt for answering this question cause you wanted the answer from particular people. Anyway.

    That's a way to get somebody's attention haha...

    Unfortunately it's impossible to tell what the problem is as there are many steps and critical points in the CPA process. It may not be that direct linking isn't working, it could simply be the offer isn't targeted, the traffic isn't targeted, the traffic/offer relationship isn't there, etc

    Or perhaps it's merely the advertising medium. Perhaps your ad copy isn't good, or is good at getting clicks throughs but doesn't qualify the traffic enough.

    Too many pieces of the puzzle to jump to any conclusions.

    With that said, obviously coding landers allows you to have the most control. With that said, I've never personally coded my own lander...hire somebody or use a non coded, template type lander and hack away to modify it yourself.

      Thanks for the share dude! It really helps. I'll think of it but i don't know if i need that much of knowledge It's too much but for $25 i'll give it a shot in the future.
