Leadimpact CTR Help :(

So I deposited $200 into LI and created my first campaign. This is the lander I used:

I bid on a very popular data backup site and some other highly related urls and I got about 1000 views to my AD. The problem is CTR was only 4.6% and not a single lead

What I'm doing wrong? Does my LP looks horrible? Or it's taking too much of time as it's a gif image about 260KB? :/

Thanks.

Yes, I was using a male voice with some description about justcloud. I was promoting justcloud PPL 6.00 @ Peerfly. What do you think about my LP? Is it ok or is it bad? What kind of sounds are good to get peoples attention? A voice or a simple notification sound?

      Thanks

You have the right idea to focus on the CTR, some ideas of mine:

    - I would get a more eye catching image.

    - Split test an HTML version like your wondered about. (You can add some source URL/keyword call outs.)

    - Remove the "The Best Online Data Backup...." just make the pop more word-y and takes away from the title.

    - Install the LeadImpacts toolbar and do some spying on your competition, see how they are catching people's eyes.

    - Split test some more landing pages with different background colors.

You need to remember with PPV your Landing Page is your ad, so you need to test a handful of them.

Online Back-ups is one the top niches on PPV, you wouldn't jump into dating on Facebook, and only test 1 ad?

See what I am getting at.

But stick with it, you have the right attitude, be determined to make it work.

Don't take this the wrong way but your lp seems very generic. I find with ppv it's better to look a little different and less generic and professional to grab the visitors attention.

Also Im not sure about your targeting but based on this you might be able to optimize the page to match your targeting more

With LI, I would advise split-testing 2 landers at a time, and then, once you have enough data, keep the 'champion' lander and run a new test at a variant weighting of 75% (champion)/25%(new variant).

As an aside, you should also try inserting some dynamic content in there (geo call-outs, targets, etc).

Also, remember to have your landing page links open a new page otherwise the advertisers LP will also be windowed.

    Hope that helps
