Facebook + Dating CPA - How i am doing ?

I thought of Trying CPA , in particular Dating offers on Facebook and see how it goes.

Here are the stats from yesterday -

Country Targeted : US
Targeting : Very narrow
Frequency : 1.0
Impression : 4502
clicks : 43

CTR : .955%
Conversions : 0

I am running a cost per lead offer paying between 5-10$ per lead, the landing page looked quite OK to me .

Whlie I am tweaking things and testing few more ad copies today, I would like to here from you guys.. What you think what could be the reason for 0 leads ?

I am not new to CPA and still making pretty decent ROI on Search network (Adwords) , wanted to Give Social a try as well but something seems not right to me..

Hey Thanks for stopping by.. I tried rotating but somehow Prosper is behaving strange.. When i add a new URL into rotation it goes to a random IP address after redirection instead of the target offer page. Not sure whether it's an issue with the network or my prosper , Trying to figure out. Will update what comes up.

Social media is best place to target dating niche.

Make sure you worked with best affiliate networks, use better landing pages. instead of Targeted : US, just target one state first. And use that state name in your ad copy.

Example - "Find Date In New York"

Make sure to use Action Calls in your AD Copies

Images Play very Important role, while advertising on Facebook.

Use better interest and split age groups 25-30, 31-35, 36-41.

    Good Luck

Facebook Traffic source ---- Target peoples with no specific interest ---- Events can be like specific days, like Rose days, Kiss day, valentine day, Friday nights, weekend dates etc... ---> Angles know's as Images.

      Hope its help!

Your CTR is awesome. How was your LP CTR?

You can try to switch out the offer for another offer to see how it converts.

      Hi,

It was a direct link setup not a particular LP => Offer setup. I am getting a LP build and meanwhile switched to a different offer which LP is more focused.

I suspect the landing page of this offer just too generic.

    New York Yankee Fan?
Looking for a date for the next game?
We've got 100's of ladies on our site.

Multiply the above idea by every major sport team in the US. Then when finished, go country by country and do the same. That should keep you busy for the rest of your life.

Got the idea man, pretty Clever ha!Can see how you hint the target as well. Gonna implement now.

I used a same strategy couple months back in a CB affiliate offer for a Piano product (there are not many so you can guess which one it is) and posted a banner on a Guitar tuts site saying - "Why just guitar , Learn Piano as well, it's Easy. Click here" and it went the highest CTR than other variations as well conversions...

You have a great CTR on your image.

What is your LP looking like?

Post a link to your LP if you want some real feedback

One thing you need to make sure of when doing dating offers (especially on Facebook) is to make sure the image is believeable

I did a dating ad on FB once and used the following image. I found it by Googling "beautiful woman" and it stood out more than any other to me:

I got a great CTR, but lousy conversions. Why? Because the woman was too hot for most people to believe she was on a dating site

Oh nice to know that. In My case i googled for "happy woman" and used one of the pic, She isn't pretty but shows Joys.. it looks like the offer LP being less converting. Being genric might be one of the reason but cannot say for sure until further testing.

From my Adwords Display network experience I wanted to test "happiness" or positive energy in ad image for a better CTR.

As your ctr is not bad, just surprise you get nothing. Maybe time toput LP instead of direct linking.
