CPM: How many impressions before you make changes to the ad?

I'm in the process of running a banner on a ad-network that only has CPM. How many impressions should I allow before I make changes to the ad during the test phase?

    Everyone has a different number. Some say 1,000 others 20,000, others 10,000. It's up to you. I typically by the amount spent per ad because the bottomline is money.

    I go 7,000 to 10,000 on POF. But I also go off the amount spent vs. offer pay out many times.

    I would base it off of the amount spent opposed to number of impressions

    Set a GOAL CTR then use this:

    t = (CTR - GOAL) / (SQRT(CTR*(1-CTR)/IMP))

    Then look up in a t-table.

        It is a t-statistic from statistics. Read up a bit on inferential statistics and it will help your aff mktg!

    I give each banner 10,000 impressions. Then depending on the conversion and ctr I cut them.
