Getting volume on POF

Does anyone have any good tips for getting volume on POF? Do you just need to go for a really high CPM (assuming you are targeting the premium demographics like low login count, session depth, etc)? Are there any other ways? I can't seem to get my budget of just $30 even close to spent.

You must have really tight targeting. If you don't want to bid too high, just loosen up your parameters a little and see where that gets you.

I have men, 20 years bracket, one ethnicity, login count < 50, session depth < 10, USA, no mobile. Is that really tight?

I don't run it all day though.

If the ethnicity is not caucasian then yes, it's going to be pretty hard to get volume. I forgot what the actual numbers are but the large majority of people on PoF are white.

What you can do is drop login count and set your bid a lot lower. Your CTR will decline slightly but you should get more volume.

Also, no need to target session depth. Your bid automatically determines the depth.

    Hope this helps.

Your thoughts on session depth are interesting. I guess that means its better to just split test bids rather than session depths. I never thought about it that way before. Thanks.

By the way, I am targeting Caucasian. The landing page sorta requires it right now, but I could change that.

POF has small amount of volume considering all the variables that you can target. Its always better to run 10 small campaigns with pof rather than trying to make 1 working one go big.

Duplicate your campaigns and own that spot. That's the best way to do it.

Well, assuming your targeting will allow it, ensure you have a high budget, get your ctr as high as possible, try upping your bid as well.

Then scale, try out other targeting that is similar, it might not be as high profit but might still be profitable
