Bidding Question For Facebook

Hi, so I contacted my manager about the "top offers" for FB ppc.

She gave me a list and most of the products have a payout from $2-$5.

My question is, how do I make this work for FB ppc? Is there an equation that I follow for a payout that low? Will FB accept bids that are low like 10 cents? I'm trying to figure out how I can profit with this? Thanks.

Facebook bid prices will be dependant on your targeting. When you setup your campaign you can see the suggested bid price. I will tell you this, it is very difficult to make lower paying offers profitable on facebook. I wouldn't personally try anything that pays under $4 a lead.

Take a look at what's being advertised to you on your Facebook:

I bet you'll see some games mixed in there. Possibly dating offers as well. With a good ad and solid targeting you can run profitable Facebook campaigns with lower payout offers.

If you want to try your luck with a $50 purchase feel free, but we see much better results with simple lead generation/user acquisition offers

Because most managers don't actually run traffic and know how tough it can be.

That's not to say $2 payouts don't work. In Asia, $2 payouts made me over 50K a month.

Yes FB should accept the amount of 10 cents. I also tried it my self. From 0.10 to 0.15 - incrementally increased my bid 5 cents. 0.10 -> 0.15 -> 0.20 just to improve my ad impressions. See also this thread:
