Can leads be shaved?

If I'm promoting a free offer and I'm using the word "free" on my ad copies, can the leads I make be shaved by the advertiser?

The leads can indeed be scrubbed by the advertiser. I would avoid using the word "free" in your ads, as it tends to result in lower quality leads. Lower quality leads increases the chances of you getting scrubbed or kicked off of the offer all together.

It all depends of the tos of the offer, in most cases using the word free is a big no no. But reach out to your am to confirm.

Yes, if the word "free" is not allowed.

Even if it is I am careful when I use it.

Good to know, because i started to use Airpush a few days ago, and i didn't realize that you cant promote ads with the word "free"

BTW how can the advertiser shave your leads? send the leads to your own server and make iframe to his landing page, than no body can still your leads!

  check offer terms and conditions if they have restrictions on using words like free simply dont use them and consult your affiliate manager about using such terms in your ad copies and yes advertisers can scrub leads
