Hi Warriors,

I was wondering that if i am using landing pages should'nt my epc be higher than network epc in most of the cases, as many marketers direct link to the offer which must be bringing network epc down? Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately no, and here is why...

Most advertises on CPA Networks that are direct linking, are not profitable, so they only make up a tiny % of the average.

Opposed some talented affiliate marketers getting conversions making the majority of the average.

    Hi Greedy,

    Thanks for your insight.

Is it also true that some experienced affiliate marketers also send low quality clicks to an offer to keep the network epc low to drive other marketers away from that offer?

The network epc isn't a number you can compare anything to. This is made up of the epc from all affiliates that run that offer on that network and different traffic sources and different affiliates will produce different epcs.

    Hey Mithya!

As you have pointed out the EPC is a very skewed number. For me, offers that I use a Landing Pages I usually have an EPC that blows-out the EPC of the network. This is especially true for higher paying out offers for me. I really dont hold to much weight on EPC when it comes to CPA.

      Hey Ben,

      Thanks for your valuable suggestion.

Have you also seen success direct linking to offers on leadimpact?

        Hey Mithya,

I have a few campaigns that i have gotten profitable with Direct Linking in LeadImpact. For these campagins my keyword targets are very focused, and the offers landing page fits decently into the pop-up size. Also the "Call to Action" appears within the pop-up. For the most part though landing pages will help conversions. Hope this helps.

It's really hard to say, depends a lot on the campaign and how you are driving traffic.

However, your EPC with a landing page should be better than your EPC without a landing page in most (not all) cases.
