Products on PPV

Warriors,

Wondering if anyone has sold products directly through PPV? I used to sell some products on craigslist with a website and did a decent amount of sales within a six month period. So would it be possible to do the same through PPV by targeting the product, brand and websites associated to it?

    I have had success with cost per sale in the form of trail CPA, if you are trying to promote a product over $5 I would suggest building a list, since then you can pitch the product over time.

    Are these your own products or promoting as an affiliate?
    It would work definitely but if it is your own product then you need to take care on setting up the tracking properly, it will bit different than what it is done with the other affiliate products.

    I have done this a lot but in my experience it has become saturated. What I did was to target CL URLS and make a lander replicating the CL website (obviously a small disclaimer below which is clearly visible).

    I made a lot of sales for male enhancement products and weight loss products, did not have much success with free lead gens (surprising to me)

    I think it should work if you bring your own twist to it, also one more thing, if it isn't your product make sure you ask your AM regarding the permissions associated with it. In most cases brand bidding will not be allowed

      By CL you mean Craigslist?

      With weightloss, what converted better: trials or full purchase?

    These would be tangible/physical products that I would personally be shipping out.

    I just don't know how to approach pitching the product, whether through building an email list or directly selling them.

    Build a list. Millions of opportunities. Also offer stellar customer support, this always works.
    About how to pitch, simplest way is to think if you were buying a product what would make you buy it.

    PPV works best with CPA offers e.g. email submit. Not sure how good it is with CPS model.

      I find it can work, but you need to think a little differently, when I've done this, I've targeted my campaigns to persuade the visitor to buy from me opposed to the site they are visiting

        target your competitors get them onto your list.

        Target their product pages and their services and pop your ad in front of them.

        Make them want to give you their info and steal them from their site.
