Classified Ads - Help Pls

What are the Do's and Don'ts on Classified Ads in places like the gumtree, craigslist etc, what are the pitfalls that you would advise to avoid? what is your general experience in using it for generating leads?

    The main pitfall is it is not allowed by the majority of CPA Networks.

    They will ban your account and not pay you your commissions if caught.

    Not worth it in my option. If you are using it personal use, then go for it, but Craiglists has been cracking down very hard on lead generation and multiple posts these past 2 years.

    Its not possible to promote cpa offers directly using this traffic but there are various other affiliate programs which you can consider.
    Traffic would be very good from these sources but only other thing which you should take note of is whether you would be able to post those ads easily or not. Especially in craigslist, it would be very tough if you are outside US.

    The only category where you can post these offers without getting your ad taken down is probably the "sm biz ads" category. You're not going to get any results because most people will never look there.

    It's a big do not do. If you're caught you will likely lose your CPA network account. Not worth it IMO.

    Pitfalls - do not overpost. Craigslist is very handy with generating leads. If you are generating leads through an affiliate program, make sure you run it by your affiliate manager to see if this method is allowed.

    Craigslist is a very good place for generating leads. Though u cannot use it directly to generate leads for any CPA campaign as most of the CPA networks do not allow craigslist traffic, u can still use craigslist in some other ways......first collect email replies from Craigslist traffic and then send them your CPA offer into their mailbox. This is how people are using classified sites for CPA lead generation.
