PPV - Competiting With Yourself Within Same Niche

To all experienced PPVers......

How many of you guys run 3 or more of the same niche offers on the same PPV network?

Example:

Network: TrafficVance

Offer 1 - health insurance offer 1
Offer 2 - health insurance offer 2
Offer 3 - health insurance offer 3

I realize that you would be competing with yourself on the network with these different offers, since your bidding on the same targets, however if you find a niche that is really HOT, I would think it wouldn't matter and would work out in the end. Especially seeing that you already have the data to move forward at a more quicker pace for the other offers.

I always just use the niches' best converting offer.

Because it doesn't make sense taking traffic away from an offer with a 1.50 EPC to give it to an offer with a .40 EPC.

Your best bet is to always send as much traffic as you can to your best converting offer.

I'll split test 2-3 offers at at time, but I don't put them against each other with no plans of picking a winner.

  • I have to agree with Greedy why would you send traffic to a lower converting offer Rather then directing the traffic that has the highest traffic conversion rate that would make you the most money.
Test in ezines, solo ads, banners, squeeze pages and then roll up after you have tracked your ads and know what to expect as far as traffic conversions. always put your best foot forward
    Good Luck

Why not build an email opt-in page and promote all offer to the one person. A long term strategy I would recommend is to build a list with a front end cpa offer and follow up to your list for 7 days with similar offers.

Thanks for chiming in Owen. I am building a list on the backend currently.

As far as promoting several offers within the first 7 days, I've always read that isn't the best technique for promoting at first, as you have to warm up the list a bit before doing this. Giving them quality info for the first 3-4 emails would help ensure that they perceive you as someone that is there to help them and not just market to constantly.
Hitting a list up with back to back offers within the first 7 days could potentially turn off a lot of subscribers, however I'm aware that people still do this.
