the last campaign was :
niche : bowhunting
audience : scraped ids from closed groups ,active people on pages
audience seize : 30.000

First, many accounts are getting shut down for scraping CAs. I wouldn't do it personally.

Second, just understand that teespring is not a business, it's an income. One year from now, 95% of FB > TS folks won't be making money with it I suspect. Can you make money now, absolutely...but just pointing out that it's not a real business...at least the way most people approach it

Last...any direct marketing campaigns comes down to a lot of variables. Testing shirt designs, ad designs, copy designs etc is something that must be done religiously. Winners don't pop out of the gate normally...you need to test and test until they win.

And many campaigns are never born and will never be winners...if they were, everybody would be raking in tons of cash.

I don't mean to be negative and I didn't read your first post, I just see a LOT of people jumping on bandwagons (in this case Teespring) and think they'll nail homeruns without putting in lots of testing and grinding.

My advice...pay most attention to your audience quality (what the numbers tell you combined with your intuition) and your ad split testing.

    Good luck!

You spent $50 and made 3 sales? If so, you've got some potential to revive this campaign and rocoup your costs and hopefully make a profit.

Many people will quit after getting 2 or 3 sales and spending $40 or $50... yet not realizing that if they optimized their ads according to the converting demo... that they could very well have a winner <--- read that over and over again as this could be your "missing piece" that you've been looking for.

Here is my latest campaign (a loser)...any tips? Thanks!
I'm guessing I should break down those demographics and focus on the lowest cost and/or highest ctr and ditch the others.

      $42.78 Spent in Advertising
      13,497 Impressions
      8.071% Click Thru Rate
      849 Website Clicks
      $0.05 Per Click
      82 Likes

Top Click Thru Rate Percentages, Demo, CPC,
      11.02% Male 55-64 $0.04
      10.03% Female 45-54 $0.03
      8.86% Male 45-54 $0.03
      8.33% Female 55-64 $0.06
      7.85% Male 35-44 $0.03
      7.44% Female 35-44 $0.03
      ___________________________________

      $42.78 Expenses
      $68.73 Revenue (3 orders x $22.91 per order)

      Fulfillment Costs ($14.50 per order) x 3 = $43.50
      ___________________________________

      Net Profit/Loss $17.55 LOSS

As you can see, I had a good amount of likes and shares. The price is shown in the ad too, high ctr, etc....

Of note: I am not sending clicks to TeeSpring, instead my own landing page (powered by shopify). Perhaps some landing page tweaks are needed..although I did try to keep it all in line with what TeeSpring does.

Looking at your image for the ad, i wouldn't think of a shirt sale...Why not just use the image of the actual shirt?

Split test. You need to split test. Google for youtube tuts and scour forums for free advice.

Your missing piece though, is staring you right in the face. --> How in the he*l is that ad supposed to translate into a desire to wear a Tshirt?

It's good to be creative, and I think that's a big reason Teespring is so damn popular is that it is catching the interest of a different kind of person than usually would be keen to do internet marketing - the creatives - but alas, you've gone too far lol

Don't try and reinvent the wheel, but on the other hand, don't straight up copy what others are doing. There's a fine line, find it.

      ...and good luck!!!

**I don't always make it back to check on threads, so if you'd like me to elaborate feel free to PM me, I try to make sure to check my inbox regularly and am happy to help..

I wouldn't have pulled a $9k week w/Teespring etc without the help of others, so it's time to pay it forward.
I can make a little room in my life for that. ;)

There might be something wrong with your ad image and ad copy. Also, I normally use the actual shirt image with a price in all my ad images. Good luck!

If your budget is tight, use just $10 or less for testing... don't get attached.

Also, pay attention to ALL of the metrics, if they don't look good, you can kill it early, say after $5 and AT LEAST 1,000 reach.

I could be wrong, but I think the problem is the image. I don't find it at all appealing. And I'm going to guess that bow hunters won't, either.

The problem is that it's just not very "macho."

In fact, I'll bet the SAME design -- without any of the "people" graphics -- would convert better. When you put babies and children on a shirt, it dampens the rough, rugged spirit of those words.

You said, you got 12% CTR, for how many clicks you are telling that you didn't get any website clicks? If CTR is that good, people likes your ad. Are you using any LP or direct linking your campaign?

I had my first successful Teespring campaign. Target Target Target!!! That's all I can say. I didn't do any scraping or anything as a matter of fact I'm almost a complete noob. I spent $36.43 in FB ads and made $153.50 in profits. Not so bad for my first try and 3 days of it running.

    Good luck.

Congrats on the quick success. Did you use "Click to websites" , "Website Conversions" or "Page Post Engagements"?

My company has made some nice designs but I gotta say the traffic that I'm paying for from FB is sh*t. It's pinpointed down to CC owners and spenders along with the liking of various specific targets (i.e. sports / entertainment niches). So far results have been "meh". My company has a graphic design arm and I think we could do damn well on Teespring if I can get to the people who are actually willing to spend.
