  IMO it's one of the more active paid forums..
  The "latest posts" are constantly changing so this tells me there is likely a fair bit of activity, just did a quick count, there are approx 20 new posts today alone (i find there is often more activity during the evening as well)

I don't even run that much PPV traffic but I stay a member because there is so much information there and it definitely is the most active paid forum I have ever seen. On top of that everyone is helpful.

Put it this way: I pay something like $160/month for ppvguru and I've been there about 9 months now. There's no way I'd continue to pay that amount unless it was worth it.

Not sure if serious. I ended up joining and it was a complete joke. Everyone I know who joined agrees. There are plenty of complaints about that forum if you search here. STM or Aff Playbook is 10000x better. Plus with those places, you can learn about all traffic types.

I've never tried PPVGuru but the name is awesome

I highly recommend Aff Playbook. David's been doing affiliate marketing for 10 years. He's a smart guy and like others have said he's super active in the forum.

I'd also add that there are tons of experienced active users. Many of which are cool and take the time to help out newbies whenever possible. Want proof? I'm one of them. Just look at all the cool free stuff I post on my blog. I've never seen that in any other forum. Usually you either get a crowd full of well intentioned, inexperienced dummies giving you bad advice -- or you get a crowd of experienced know-it-all jerks who just make fun of newbies. In general APB has a great vibe and the people are there to make money, learn, and share.

Seriously the case studies and follow alongs alone make the membership an absolute steal.

So yeah, you can join both and figure this out later, or you can trust me and spend that other $150+ on testing some campaigns.

The OP asked for advice and I gave it. I fully disclosed I know nothing about PPV Guru. I simply gave him my recommendation based on my experience.

For all I know PPV Guru is OMG Amazing!(@*&!*(@&!*@&*!(

I've payed for one month PPVGuru, but it feels like you have to do everything on your onwn (that's how it feels like for me).

Well if you put it that way, i started with ppvguru in the middle of a month i made $400 the 1st month i was very happy because i have never made money online before.

Then second month came and i can't describe how i felt. 4k was far too much for me i could not belive it.

I am 8 months into the forum now and i have never had to pay the forum fee with money out of my pocket

  AffPlaybook hands down. I've been a member of AffPlaybook for years and the forum is still very active. David is always putting out new content and I really enjoy the community there.
  
  There's plenty of content for people at any level of PPV experience, not to mention just about every other traffic source. David chimes in on just about every thread and there are plenty of other experienced members to chat with as well.

For PPV, the best forum by a long shot is ppvguru. It is expensive though. The second best forum for ppv is lolmonies which is much more affordable.

Either way.. People have their preference. I've been a member of affplaybook for over 4 years now. I've always been happy with them. I've never tried ppv guru, but it seems like they are doing something right from all the comments.

Learning about any business I would suggest that ALL information is valuable no matter where that information comes from.

Its how you use and implement that information is the difference between failure and success.

PPV is an ever changing market with the traffic sources (especially Leadimpact) are always changing the way their pops work so you need to stay on top of the info.

Check out Greedy coaching $10 per month but you have to do the work I check her site once a week for ideas, it's good value and has PPV examples in it, but again it's not the hand holding you have to do it.

Funny how some of these guys that slagged off ppvguru are actually now members for a few month now.

Interesting how people change. I always say this - no matter where you get your information from as long as it is correct - ALL information is helpful in educating yourself.

Like most people say you have to try them all out and decide for yourself some people prefer one method of teaching to another. Others prefer a community based education with many chipping in.

As I said and keep saying any education as long as its right is good education.

Join Affplaybook you won't regret. I was a member of PPVGURU but as a newbie my experience was so horrible. You're not gonna learn basics and anything about ppv at ppvguru.

For basic and deep knowledge just join affplaybook.

I would not say more advance just a different approach and we have many tutorials for complete noobies.

If people are stuck all they have to do is ask for help and they will be provided the help. If someone does not ask a question unfortunately we are not telepathic.

We are currently running a follow along where we take a guy with zero knowledge to $200 a day profit. This has been live for over a week now and it includes setting everything up to starting campaigns and how to get them into profit. This is without a doubt one of the most popular case studies we have done. As this provides all the info, campaigns, landing pages and keywords that we use to achieve his goal.
