AdWords - Can't get a single click, what's wrong?

Why I'm not getting a single click no matter how much I increase the payment? The keywords have over 1k monthly searches.
This happens on almost all keywords I try, I can't get a single click, I tried googling and haven't found anything.

This is probably a completely dumb newbie question but I still don't know what am I doing wrong. Anyone knows?

1k monthly searches is a small amount in my option, was the global today, because you country targeting maybe limiting you.

Is it 1k monthly local search or global search? If it is global 1k monthly, then the amount is quite small but if it's 1k local, then try changing the ad copy of your campaign and see if the keywords you are chossing are buyer keywords or not and the impact of the keywords on a buyers mind. Also, the kind of buyers you are targeting, are they quick decision-making ones or do they conduct research before purchasing something? Generally, they are informational keywords, you won't get much clickthroughs with AdWords campaigning.
