Retargeting Questions

Hey all,

I'm about to run a retargeting campaign for a client of mine. It's a small-medium sized local construction company.

I have a few questions:

Which company do you recommend? (no self promotion please)

Is it possible to build the retargeting list by just dropping cookies and not displaying ads until a month or so later?

Is it possible to retarget by using a list of IP addresses from past visitors?

When users clear cookies do we lose tracking on them? Is there any company out there who uses flash super cookies?

    As for "dropping cookies and starting them later" - not that I know of. You could kind of do it manually...like set cookies for a certain week....then a month later turn on that campaign.

    I am not aware of a way to retarget with IP address as opposed to cookie.

    As far as I know...if a user clears his/her cookies - that's it. You're no longer retargeting them.

      You can do your own retargeted with Google AdWords and Facebook ads. You can also use adroll if you want help.

    Yes, this possible with the companies I listed. Typically, it is best to advertise to visitor soon after while the brand is still semi fresh in their mind.

    Is it possible to retarget by using a list of IP addresses from past visitors?
    No, but you can target by email and phone numbers on Facebook if you have those.

    When users clear cookies do we lose tracking on them?
    Yes.

    Is there any company out there who uses flash super cookies?
    I don't know off the top of my head.
