I have used Google Adwords in the past, but has something major changed?
I used to have 8,9/10 in quality score for exact matching. And my text ads was never put to (limit)approved. I have made dating text ads in the past without any problem.

Yeah - the market may have got more competitive and other ads are achieving a higher CTR than yours. This means they will lower the quality score on your ads. Basically, Adwords is all about maximizing the returns for Google, so they want you to pay more per click to run your ads. The matching type is not relevant. Also, approval has got a bit tighter in order to ensure ads comply with their regulations and are up to scratch with industry standards or potential trademark infringements.

But any questions just fire away

In the break down of you quality score what does it show is low? Google typically ranks it by the landing page, ads, and CTR... I think.

Figure what is hurting your ranking specifically, then try to improve it.

Thx for your answers, the strange thing is that the quality this time is better in every way than before, but that is also reletive. I have used a pro copywriter this time and put extra effort to improve everything from landingpage, textads.

The only difference is that the text ads used to be very "keyword stuffing", like I wrote them myself like this.

      keyword keyword

      bla bla bla

      keywordkeyword.com

In that format I got high quality score. (in the past)

And I used 1-3 different ads to alternate. Now my plan was to improve that a lot...

Quality Score will be updated constantly and it depends on many factors like CTR, LP etc. Just run your ads again for a week, if it performs well than others, then your Quality Score will be updated according to the current competitors.

    Good luck

One thing that no one mentioned here is that Google changed the way they measure their quality score some time ago and a lot of people were affected, without even checking the new rules.

True. Ad Extensions were made an important part of Quality Score algorithm, earlier it was mainly CTR and relevancy.
