Am I on the right track?
I run a small handwriting business. I serve mostly B2B customers, but am branching out into some B2C (mostly wedding services like envelope addressing and thank you note writing).
My website hasn't taken a single order yet. I'm poorly ranked in Google, and I don't have enough time to learn the skills necessary to significantly improve SEO. So, I am going to try my hand at AdWords. Here's my plan:
1) Build a landing page for my B2B service - it's handwritten and hand addressed direct mail marketing (notes and postcards). I made an explainer video for the landing page. Big CTA, no leaks, Etc.
2) Send traffic from my landing page directly to the B2B section of my online store.
Is this a bad approach? Should I be using the landing page and explainer video to gather email addresses and build a list instead?
Any ideas and direction would be much appreciated.
