Your ads performance depends on the quality score. And there are multiple factors influencing the quality score.
Bing is very particular about your landing page being optimized for the keywords that you are bidding for. If your keywords doesn't relate to the landing page, your ad and keywords will have a poor quality score and you will not get any traffic at all.
    Hope that helps.

Can you give us more information? It's hard to help without knowing the details. Is everything within their TOS?

It could be that the display URL doesn't match the destination URL in your ads ... which is a common problem when using direct linking in PPC ads.

That's why you always want to use your own site if you can instead of linking direct to a merchant's page ... as that way you are in full control of every aspect of your PPC campaign and you can ensure this kind of issue with the major PPC platforms never even occurs.

More information please on why they banned the ads - they have a TOS and also there are services that help you craft an ad based on their TOS that is acceptable. But please more info so we can give you a correct answer otherwise all of it is going to be very vague.

It is not tough, but as a big company they have their rules and ToS. If you don't cooperate, of course you will not be able to use their services.

I find their support team to be very helpful. What I always do is to call them up and find out what the exact problem is. Adwords support may not help a lot, but Bing's does it always. If you do what they suggest, you will start getting impressions.

    Hope that helps.

I've had 0 luck with Bing ads. My ad was supposedly clicked 166 times (which led the interested party to my landing page) yet 0 people opted in. Not even one....

Yet the VERY SAME AD on Facebook converts at over 30%.

I confronted Bing with this in the Bing live chat an the Bing representative claimed my opt-in page was too basic and lacked information. When I countered that I am converting at over 30% on Facebook the Bing chat representative told me I didn't have a privacy policy on my opt-in page. He wouldn't answer my question. I have the chat transcription if anyone wants to see it.

Can you share how you are targeting on Facebook compared to Bing?

With Bing I use keywords and target by country. With Facebook I target the names of related gurus, their products, phrases, etc. I also target by gender (male).

  • On Bing, Quality score matter a lot. You should have relevant landing page of what you are promoting.

Yes... my ad states what the viewer receives when they opt-in as does the page. The problem isn't the opt-in page - if it was I wouldn't be converting using Facebook. I haven't tried the ad on Adwords but I'll give it a go to see how it does.

Bing has not become very strict at all.

Just create a quick landing page for your offers. You should be doing this anyway.

I'll let you in on a secret I've discovered from first hand testing.

The absolute best, highest converting and most profitable traffic comes from offline sources. There isn't even a comparison between online and offline derived traffic if you do it properly. And the best part is, you can have whatever kind of landing page you want. No robots ranking the quality of your site and judging every move you make.

This allows you full freedom to make true direct response killer pages. And the setup time is miniscule compared to what is required to appease the big PPC engines.

You can shoot me a PM if you want and I can send you in the right direction. Once you test it, you won't go back. That's my experience at least...

    Bill
