Building Backlinks to Your Adsense Website

You can make a nice little income with Adsense but so many people just struggle to do it. It isn't that hard, the problem is that many people build a website and then neglect it.
A website won't just make money on its own while you sit back and wait for it to happen; you need to promote your site and build backlinks to it and soon you will start to see some income.
Here are some of my favorite backlinking methods:
1. Article Marketing
I love using article marketing because it is free, it is simple and it is very effective. All you need to do is write a heap of articles and submit them to article directories. You will have a resource box and this is where you have the opportunity to place a link pointing back to your website.
To increase the value of your article marketing backlinks you should use your keywords and hyperlink them with the link to your site, this is great off page optimization and will give you targeted keyword backlinks.
Remember, the more articles that you write and the more directories you submit them to, the more backlinks you are creating.
2. Blogging
I have my own little network of blogs that I use for the sole purpose of building backlinks. These blogs are multi-niche blogs so I can add articles or blog posts for any of my niche sites and include a link back to my site. Posts to these blogs don't need to be extremely long, just a little bit of information relating to your niche and include a link back to your website.
3. Web 2.0 Sites
Along with blogging, I also use Squidoo and Hubpages as a source for backlinking. It is quick and simple to build a Hubpage or a Squidoo lens, add a heap of content and include a link back to your website.
Web 2.0 sites are great because they tend to get indexed fast and get good rankings.
4. Blog Commenting
Don't just add posts to your own blogs for backlinking, but visit other blogs in your niche and leave comments. Just don't ever spam other people's blogs or your comments are not likely to be approved. Whenever you do blog commenting, always contribute to the conversation of the blog and your comment should get approved. Remember to fill in the link to your website and often blogs will have a box for you to put your link in.
5. Guest Blogging
This is another way to use other people's blogs. You can offer to write an article for someone else's blog in exchange for including a link to your own website. The blog owner gets unique content for their blog and you get a backlink to your site - it's a win-win situation!
