The Importance of Split Testing With Affiliate Products

If you're about to start with your affiliate marketing, all you need to do is split testing your campaigns. Most affiliate and internet marketers are always doing split tests for their campaigns in order to know which one really converts well, and which one does not. No matter if you're doing it on a free or paid traffic, split testing is very important.
First, you need to sign up with an affiliate program (e.g., MarketHealth, Commission Junction, etc.) and choose 3 to 5 products that are on the same niche. Create separate landing pages for those products that you want to test (no matter if it's WordPress or basic HTML). Make sure that your landing pages looked very attractive to the customer (or potential buyer).
Free or paid method, still you are testing it!
For example, if you're using PPC as a method to test your campaigns, it's a high risk that you'll ever take. You will setup the ads and keywords assigned to each product, fund your PPC account with credits and let it run until your credits expired. You also need to track which ones are performing well (based on the number of hops and potential sales).
Check the stats of each product in order for you to know which ones are performing better. Only pick the ones that performs well and continue running them, while the others will no longer be running. Without split testing, it would be more difficult for you to know if the promoted product really converts well.
