Article Marketing - Write For Humans Or Search Engines?
- ARTICLES |
But when doing article marketing, there's a debate about whether or not you should write for the search engines, versus writing for humans. In my opinion, I think you should write for people 100%. If you get 100 hits to your article and it is plagued with redundant keywords and the article doesn't even make sense, you more than likely won't get any sales.
Now some people say that it's better to write for the search engines so that you can get your article to the first page of the search engines quickly. But let me tell you something. I've written articles for the search engines, and for people. And guess what? The articles I wrote for human beings out-pulled writing for the search engines in terms of getting sales.
Why do I mention this? Well because I see alot of people giving bad advice about how to market their business via article marketing. This is something that still stirs debate in some of the most popular places on the internet. Mostly, it's the beginners and newbies who ask this question. But they don't last long enough anyway when it comes to internet marketing - so they abandon the field altogether.
But this debate is like asking the question, "Should I use short or long sales letters?" Yet even so still, the question about article marketing is still being asked, and people get stuck in their article marketing efforts. You don't have to let this be your fate. Write for humans and you will be good to go.
Remember, article marketing is good for getting traffic, but it's also a way to create a brand for yourself in your niche. If someone contacts you for your expertise in some way, I'm pretty sure that article marketing had a role in you getting someone to contact you. Don't believe me? I get emails and followers all the time from folks trying to learn internet marketing advice from me.
They find me credible via the content that I serve to them in my email newsletter, and also from the articles that I write all across the internet. All of this wouldn't be possible if I wrote crappy articles for the search engines, instead of high quality articles for people. Catch my drift?
The next time you write an article, keep these tips in mind. You will find that the more you write for humans, the more your sales will increase because you're writing for an audience who understands the words that you are writing. You don't want to lose these prospects with articles that don't even make sense. Always write for humans. Period.
Good luck with using these tips to earn you more money in your business today.
