Quick Tips Every Beginner Needs

1. Take action
The one thing I see more often than not with beginning marketers is the lack of taking action. A number of times I've read stories about somebody who waited one or two years before they actually took action and started making money online. Understand, you don't have to learn every method out there before you start. Just pick one, put together a plan and take action.

2. Focus, focus, focus
Notice I use the word of focus three times. This is the hardest thing for any Internet marketer to do, especially when they first start. I even find it hard to focus sometimes, depending on what's going on around me.
Make sure to setup your home environment properly, eliminating distractions and allow you to focus on the tasks at hand. Once you have the proper place for work, you need to take everything one-step at a time, as you work through your plan. Don't let other potential Internet Marketing programs or ideas cloud your judgment as you're working through the plan you've already set up.
3. Hard work
My keyboard didn't stutter when I wrote hard work. It's not easy to make money online. Some make it sound like you're just going to put together some magical plan and all of the sudden you're going to be the recipient of tens of thousands of dollars in your PayPal account overnight. It doesn't work that way. Unless you're as lucky as a lottery winner, you probably won't even make $5000 your first month. However, if you put in the hard work and you continually work at your plan, you will complete it and you will see the money start to roll in.
4. Don't buy the hype
The worst thing you can do, once you've created a plan and you start working it, is to start buying all the different garbage products out there promising tens of thousands of dollars without any work. Trust me, it takes work to make money online. There's a reason why some of us say we're Internet marketers full time. Yes, full time for an Internet marketer may only be 30 hours a week or even 20 hours a week, but during that time, we are working hard.
Make sure to avoid all the different emails coming in and all the different products you find because they will just distract you from your plan. Setting the plan and working it step by step through the process until you see results will allow you to learn whether it works or not. This is the best way to get started fast, learn the process and figure out what works best for you.
5. Don't Quit
Imagine, you spend two or three months putting in an extra five or ten hours a week building up all kinds of traffic to a blog or website. Right before you start making money you sell it, move onto some other project or completely give up. This happens more often than you might think. Often times, it's because the person with the idea becomes distracted by something else and decides to move onto another project. You could have been on the verge of finally making your first sale or making a substantial income online. Simply put, don't quit.
