What is Adsense and how you should use it
Adsense is a Google product. You may or may not be aware of it but Google runs an advertising program called Adwords. Here, people can advertise their websites and they will pay for each click Adwords sends.
Google has opened a partnership program with anyone who is willing to implement their Adwords ads on their sites and split the revenue. This partnership program is Adsense.
Advertisers pay to have their ads displayed both when someone searches a query that might match the advertiser's products and services and when someone lands on a website or a page that's contextually relevant to the advertisers ad.
Adsense publishers get paid 70% out of how much advertisers pay to have their ads displayed in the content network (Google's terminology for partner Adsense sites). Adsense is the best PPC program up to date (PPC = pay per click).
Google has a huge algorithm behind deciding what ads will be best fitted on your website and get the maximum results. The algorithm takes into account the publisher's website, the history and preferences of the visitors who landed on the site and it displays the best ads accordingly.
The payment is flexible and according to where you live, you may receive the payment via check, direct deposit or western union.
