If necessary, give some background information to help ChatGPT understand your request better. For example, instead of simply saying "Write a dialogue," you could say "Write a dialogue between two friends discussing the latest movie they saw."

This is a very helpful post.

I would just like to add that ChatGPT can write its own prompts.

If you are having trouble wording your prompt, it will help you.

Just tell it what you are trying to do.

    AI is so amazing.

I only use AI to check code sometimes...but I found the best is Gemini now...in my opinion.

A few years ago I started learning Bubble to build apps. I can build any app out there, but usually, there's coding that needs to be done and AI is great for that. Building an app has become something I do in my spare time for fun...although I don't have a lot of spare time these days to do it as much as I'd like.

Anyway, thanks for the post, it is interesting.

I think that only the graphics part of it was put on hold,
but I'm surmising based on what has been in the news.
I use a different AI for artwork.

I had a chat with Gemini last night, it is different than
ChatGPT, it interacts with you and has more of a mind
      of its own.

The images part was paused temporarily. Gemini will also create an image for you.

If you want to create content on compelling topics that engage audience and want topic research on it use this prompt.

Roles are something that definitely boosts the quality of answers. One additional thing that OpenAI also shared in their docs is explicit tell it to lay down the plan & "think" before giving the answer. That again improves the performance of GPT, just like if you tell a human to take their time & think before giving an answer.

  • Hey there, author! Just finished reading your article on crafting effective ChatGPT prompts, and wow, I must say, it was a game-changer! Your top 7 tricks really shed light on some key strategies that I hadn't even considered before.

I've been tinkering with ChatGPT for a while now, trying to make my prompts more engaging and productive, but your insights really hit the nail on the head. I especially loved your tip about keeping prompts open-ended yet specific - it's like finding that perfect balance between giving ChatGPT enough information to work with while still allowing it to flex its creative muscles. And your emphasis on simplicity and clarity? Spot on! It's easy to get carried away with complex prompts, but you've shown how simplicity can lead to better responses. Thanks for sharing your wisdom - can't wait to implement these tricks in my next ChatGPT project!

My view point is if you discuss with Chat GPT just you are discussing with your friend, by telling him the current scenario and asking him to suggest a sincere advice. Just like this Chat GPT give good results.
