Hey guys! It's a great start of 2018 & we are all set with major SEO goals to achieve this year. Before we begin with a list of strategies to try out this year, lets share our experiences about SEO experiments which got successful, mine is Roundups and content enhancements. What's yours?

    It depends on your marketing strategy in terms of all the SEO parameters implemented. on-page and off-page SEO taken into consideration. It takes patience and can take even years to rank on the serps. But, video SEO is something that tends to rank well.

    In short, SEO is a strategic long term investment and if done properly can show you the best ROI.

    OUTSOURCE IT!

    It can sounds not coherent with the question but give me 1 minute: if u start from zero, SEO it's really hard, results come in MONTHS, and if u put all this effort in building your email list it's a way better.

    WHY?

    Cause if you don't do seo for good, you won't see results at all, and if u see some results they will come in months and....

    ...they are not stable: google can change it's algorythm whenever he want without any comunication, and your traffic can suddenly stop in a day or two, and so your profit.

    My advice is: outsource it to a guy or an agency and put all your effort to build a list using payed advertising.

    People need to understand one thing: The purpose of the search engine is not to be exploited, it's to link people to what they're searching for.

    Therefore, the best thing you can do is to speak with the market, maybe even on a daily basis and then based on their needs, creating a creative content solutions to their problems. Instead of building faster horses, build a car.

    If you do this route, you'll be ahead of the game, instead of stressing out all the time if your website is going to drop from the SERPs due to a quick change in algorithm, that's how I used to approach the game and it was horrid.

    If you do it through market contact and market research, you will find yourself with high converting content with a targeted list eager to buy what you have to offer.

    I always start by trying to have unique and quality content, in addition to the obvious benefits you will also hopefully get other people organically linking to you and wanting to share your content. From there then the obvious SEO tactics (keywords, header, links, etc, etc)

      That is a great resource. Since it's been your post's second birthday, I wandered how many people actually read the thing.

      And how many actually did any of the things.

      I mean, you still see people tauting profile links as ine of the best way to get ranked.

      No, man. Read Dave's post, #34, click the link, read and study.

      I am partial to the skyscraper technique, I've gotten good links even without advertising mt content. You get much fewer but you still get some, yes, from random strangers.
