    The best thing to do is give them some incentive like product discount, if it is only 5% of original price will do the trick. This will encourage them for sure.

    Yes, under normal circumstances it is like pulling teeth to get a review, etc.

    So some incentive needs to be used.

    I suggest you create a promo or a discount wherein if they leave a review they will get a discount on their next purchase. You can also create a points system that they can collect and exchange into gift items.

    You could give some sought of offers/ discounts to encourage customers to leave reviews, like:

    1. 10 points for each review
    2. Some kind of privilege membership ,like after 10 reviews you can become a silver member
    after 20, you move to gold etc.
