I just signed up yesterday, and I'm excited to join in and contribute.

My name's Blake Akers (Blakers for short). I run an SEO agency in Birmingham, AL. I'm looking to learn more about SEO and digital marketing in general, so I thought I'd join.

      I started the agency so, technically it's my site. Having said that, I've always kicked around the idea of doing a personal blog at some point. There's a lot of advantages to that, but time's an issue for me.

      We are sponsoring our content writer's personal blog though. It's something she wants to do in her spare time to build up her credibility as a writer. It also helps the agency with outreach, because she can share her personal blog in an outreach pitch instead of an SEO agency blog. For some reason, people tend to hate guest post requests from SEO agencies, LOL.
