    Why not have both?

Have a blog for SEO traffic. And have a squeeze page for direct traffic.

You can also link to your squeeze page from your main blog.

Its in the make money online niche though, which we know is highly competitive and will take years to reach first page.

I want to promote affiliate offers and build list, and send traffic from fb ads and eventually solo ads.

I know more about that then seo, and my niche is work at home/biz opp/ make money online, my initial audience is college students

It's hard to answer without knowing more information.

How would you be driving traffic and what is the overall plan?

Personally speaking, I would think a blog has more potential for long term.

However a squeeze page is great for many traffic sources.

I would personally think you'd do best to combine them for most scenarios - create a blog and collect emails.

      Hey thanks for inquiry,

My overall plan is since im looked upon as an expert among a few hundred college students in messaging groups with my online knowledge. Im an admin now.

I want to create a free ebook to build a list promoting jvzoo products and warriorplus, I couldnt really find any make money online cpa offers on offervault last night. i was signed to yoonla but they deactivated my account for inactivity last year

I want to hire a few of those students to promote my ebook on their instagrams and inside the groups and they each have 1k-7k followers each. Then once people start seeing my pic on my squeeze along with my ebook on how to make $25-$100 writing articles. (thats how i started out a few yrs back)......

Next I plan to use lookalike audience fb ads to reach more similiar people then buy solo ads to continue building my list promoting affiliate offers while sending them free guides on how to get started with affiliate marketing.

I think this could give me the credibility, celebrity appearance among the local students

I really don't know that much about blogging and know if i can put out that much content before burning out.

Each would have it's place depending on how you intend to utilize them.

We use squeeze pages for our paid traffic, blogs to generate free organic traffic.

In this case you should definitely use a squeeze page.

I never send paid traffic to anything but a squeeze page.

I would create a squeeze page / lead magnet, drive traffic to it and build a list.

    Hi Jeff,

It depends on what you are clear on.

Most Warriors are hardcore IMers, feeling clear on using squeeze pages and making more money through their clarity.

I am a hardcore blogger, feeling clear on blogging so that prospers me more freely.

All about your level of clarity using either approach. Individual thing.

I dig blogs because I sell a gazillion things through the blog. All types of possibilities.

Squeeze pages have 1 thing to do; get ya on a list.

    My view.

    Trust your gut.

    Here's a radical idea...

Use your blog posts to pixel your traffic...

...then advertise your squeeze page exclusively to those people.

Why choose one or the other? Rock both

    Why not use both?

You can totally link from your blog posts to your squeeze page and gain quite a bit of traction.

This is a common strategy and one you should consider.

Hi, Both can be very profitable for you, but when to start you should choose 1 to help you focus and earn money faster,

In my opinion you should create a squeze page because it helps you save more time than building a website

When u build a website you need to find content for it, find keywords and seo it to google, that take a lot of time, not to mention rarely, someone who visit your site First time and buy immediately, you need to have their email, give them some valuable information before they buy from you,

but when you build a squeze page what you need to do is attract many people to your list (giving free useful information in exchange for email) then continue providing more valuable information and then offers, so it saves you time.

Do not misunderstand me!, I do not say with you shouldn't build a website, website is a great Strategy in the long time, it helps you get free traffic, so when you start earning money with squeze page, create a website to build your brand

Why not try both? I would split test both to see which one gets better results.

    Of course SQUEEZE PAGE !

the most important asset you need is a mailing list

You can't have a business without a mailing list, and the easiest way to build it is with a squeeze page

Consider in addiction that most of the people have a span of attention of 15 seconds, so it's way better to land them in a opt in page where they have only two options: leave a mail or go away

If I were you I'd create a blog for passive organic traffic and a squeeze page for paid traffic, since the ctr ratio is a lot higher using squeeze pages.

Although from the outset a blog seems like more work and looks like it will require more skills it is a great solid asset for the future.

I understand you are worried about getting burned out but a blog is a long term project and there is no rush but it can pay off very well a few years down the line.

Once you are more clear on the route you want to take and you want to dedicate a bit more time to your blog you can then start to look at SEO.

You can easily do all this while having a squeeze page at the same time.

If only i stuck with my blog idea from 3yrs ago, i purchased blog content engine from digitalmarketer and I really see the potential, just have to do some major planning.

And i'm going to go the squeeze page route first....

Also thanks everyone for the advice

A blog is the center of the sales hub . More and more consumers are making purchase decisions online after reading a companies blog post .A squeeze page is useful when you want to collect data from your prospects . So set up a blog and a squeeze page . The blog is going to draw readers in so you can build community ,providing that your content is good .You can set up a squeeze page too but if you are going to choose between the 2 set up a blog ,if not you can use both of those tools.
