Adding audio file

Hi guys, I know I'm being thick, but I can't do it.
When I try to add audio, I can only get it to attach itself to one slide, I can't see anyway to make it play through all eight slides.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

    Click on sound icon. Then if you use MS Office 2006, You can see Play sound Drop down list at the top, Change it to Play across slides to atomically or anything else.
    Different version you may see Play across slide check mark. Check mark this if not.
