    You have plenty of options. For example:

    Start a blog and write posts optimized for long tail keywords.
    Create a reviews website and monetize it with affiliate programs.
    Create some sort of website where people will create content for you (classified ads, forum, wiki...) so you can invest 100% of your time doing SEO.

    First, create the social page for your website.
    Then create google maps with Google Local Business with your business details.

    If you using WordPress, then use Jetpack plugins and connect with social site/pages to share automatically.

    After that (at least 4 months later) you will start backlink, from various types of websites (web 2, blog, forum, comments etc).

    You've got a whole bunch of good SEO strategies for the small business. You just have to make sure that the niche is ultra specific. From there, you can start checking out your competitors and see what they are and are not doing. That way, you know where to attack.
