What is the conversion ratio in views:clicks:conversion generally?

Hi, as I'm promoting a Clickbank offer, I would like to know that in general, what is the conversion ratio?
Like suppose a product gets 200 views, how much can be the conversion in general, according to all of your expereince as you have been on this field for many years? 10-20 conversion from 200?

Your conversion rate is going to depend on how targeted your traffic is that you are sending to your offer.

I often get 3 to 4 sales from 50 clicks, but my traffic source is targeted buyer traffic.

So your conversion rate is dependent on the type of traffic that you are sending to your offer.

If the 200 views you are getting are from freebie seekers, then you won't have a conversion rate at all.

I see thanks for the clarification. How do I get targeted "buyer" traffic? I am utilizing niche questions in quora and yahoo answers and FB groups. Does that mean I am wasting my time?

How do I exactly get "buying" intended traffic?

Maybe, but OP is most likely sending traffic to a CB vendor sales page and those tend to be terrible.

My point is, when it comes to CB a lot of times those CB sales pages either steal the traffic via optin forms and distracting buyers or complete failures like long videos that delay buy buttons leading to the checkout page.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Speaking of long videos, there is a product in the weight loss niche and there was only 1 long video and it was over 52 minutes long and under that was the add to cart button. And there was exit intent plugin for anyone trying to leave.

So, there was only the video and it was over 52 mins long and surprisingly the gravity was above 80 and it was one of the most popular product in clickbank.

How do other affiliates even make those sales lol? 52 freakin minute video and nothing else and gravity is over 80.

  • targeted traffic is either traffic in a very specific niche with not much competition or traffic that is sent to you via a third party. The third party has a list of people that are suppose to be looking for products in your niche.

It's not a waste of time doing the method you are. It just takes time. There are people who have made very good money of the traffic they got through this strategy.

Thanks for the info. Suppose if a product's gravity is above 70, how many conversion can I expect in average from around 200 visits?

As stated many times before on this forum and elsewhere - CB gravity is a useless metric.
