First I would check your site using google's mobile friendly test so that you can test your site and see what areas you will need to work on, this way you'll have a idea of what type of improvements you'll need to make. The tool will give you specific recommendations that you can probably get started on right away.

    Best,
    Mike

First of all what theme (site) are you using .

    Good hosting
    page load speed
    site title
    meta tag description
    image sizes
    replacing broken links
    responsive theme

All play a major role in optimization and search .

A mobile optimized site is one where text is easily readable and links are easily clickable. You shouldn't need to "pinch in" or magnify the site in order to use it. Just like on the desktop, there shouldn't be any horizontal scrolling. Everything should fall in a nice vertical line that makes use of the available screen space.

Here is the few most important point of mobile optimize website
    • Readability
    • Hide All the Unnecessary Flourishes
    • Strip Your Site Down
    • Define Your Media Query
    • Make Your Blog Mobile Optimized

Try to make your website with AMP (Accelerate Mobile Pages). It helps to optimize your website according to mobile and help to increase the speed on mobile phones.

Hello, first are you really interested in getting a response?

You've never showed back since your OP...

Now, what do you want to "optimize" exactly, what optimization type are you looking at? "Optimizing" can mean / be many things...

    Cheers!

Finally someone provided the easiest answer. Whatever platform you are using, pick a responsive theme that automatically adjusts the output to accommodate the user's screen size. Why do a bunch of hard work when the theme can do it all for you?

Yes, indeed, only if we assume that "responsiveness" is what the OP meant by "optimization for mobile". Because, responsiveness is NOT the only thing that must be optimized for a mobile website. It's a good start though. But, no, just a theme alone will not "do it all for you" sorry...

        Cheers!

Optimizing your website to mobile friendly usually comes with your host? Which hosting site are you using? If you would like to consider changing your host?
