Has anyone tried using Amazon to get traffic to you website

Do you think amazon will allow you to run a link to your blog squeeze page on THEIR ecommerce site? You will see references to amazon sellers and to third party amazon sellers....but all roads lead back to amazon.

Exactly how do you think you could accomplish it?

I don't let anyone run links to their squeeze pages from any of my sites. And I have a hell of a lot less to lose than Amazon.

Well, that's because nobody's agreed to give me $25k a month per link.

I am sure, Amazon has a price at which they'd do it. I'm thinking it's in the neighborhood of $250 billion a week. You can always ask. No harm in it.

I have seen affiliate marketers publish cheap ebooks for kindle priced at either $1.00 or $3.99. However they want to price it.

And at the very beginning of their books, they have their own mini sales pitch to go to their site and opt-in.

They'll list other bonuses, including free reports and videos, that a reader will get if they opt into their site.

No idea what their conversion numbers are but if they keep doing it, it must be working well on some level.

Ha! Can you imagine what it would be like for Amazon to just offer a service where you can actually buy website traffic? Knowing the company's MO, I'm surprised they don't offer that already. I can totally see Jeff Bezos pitching this too. I mean, if Google is doing it, why can't they? they would be copying the paid ads format easily enough, not least of all those from black hat forums, fiverr, and resources like webtrafficgeeks or maxvisits... only time will tell

I've sold some private label products on Amazon before. Despite receiving orders, it seemed most people preferred to stay on Amazon, rather then look up the company or brand name of the product.
