NICHE Selecting problem

Hello,
I have decided to do affiliate marketing and have selected a niche which is Luggage. As a newbie is it the right decision to do?
Or which niche you will choose me? I have been researching for one week but can't take any decision. Please , give me your suggestion.
Thank you so much.

Never heard of such a niche haha

Do you care about luggages? Is it your passion? If yes then you made a great decision, but there is something you should keep in mind.

Can you make money in such a niche? Are there products that you can promote, do these products have good sales funnels and are there enough people who are interested in what you are offering?

    Some questions you should consider

You're one of the very few I've seen who've actually selected a niche (and not the whole market) to go after.

It is a good idea. If the following exist:
    1. you have luggage sellers to promote that will pay you
    2. what they pay you warrants you spending your resources (This is highly personal... Amazon.com pays 4% and sells luggage for 79, 126 and a lot of other stuff for much less and much more (some people you'll send to amazon.com for luggage that costs $126 will only buy a set of pens for $7.99 and others will buy a recumbent bike for $1800). But, overall, you'll make around 2% of whatever prices the things you promote sell for.

Let's say you sell 200 pieces at $126 a week. 126x.04x200=1,008. Do, and this takes me to #3
    3. Do you know how to drive traffic to your site, get it to go to amazon and buy for a price that is less than $1008 a week by whatever amount your profit should be according to you?

In my case, because of where I live, my costs for 200 such sales a week should be no more than $200. I live in an expensive part of the world. For someone living in a village in the middle of nowhere Ukraine, that number will be different... From what I understand of the cost of living in the world, there are parts of the world where $100 a week after expenses is a great income.

So, you got the niching-down part done well... Can you do the rest? Can you create one piece of content that will get people who see it to go to amazon.com? Can you get people interested in luggage to go see that piece of content for a price that makes sense to you?

You have moved down to a sub niche . Often people choose a broad niche which may cover more products . I think though narrowing it down like you have is a good idea .

Have you researched the niche though ? What's competition like in the niche ? How are the affiliate products doing in this niche . What are people paying for PPC on Google for keywords in this niche ? Not saying you should start buying ads but check out the cost per click that people are willing to pay to advertise in this niche .

You should look for low competitive niche. You need to choose low volume keywords by which you can rank in google easily.
If you work for high competitive keywords, you won't rank easily. As a result, you won't get sell. so always look for low competitive niche and keywords
