What is considered off-page SEO? Everyone I've talked to have said about link building, is that really it?

      Well, this is about as horrible a list as you can make of off-page SEO that will actually work.

      If you can place a link, yourself, on someone else's site, it is WORTHLESS!

    I am pretty sure there are a lot of guides about on-page optimization if you check around. You just have to use the search and will find lots of guides on that.

    Off-page SEO is basically the process of optimizing a website's off-page factors which mostly involves building links, citations and social signals. It is mostly about link building surrounding your website or a particular page on the site.

    When it comes to building links, it is important to always keep a diversified link profile and avoid bad (spammy) links. The more authoritative and higher the quality of the links to the website, the better. Building links blindly or buying links without a clear focus or knowing how credible they are will get you in trouble with Google. You can easily get penalized, so just be careful and not just buy any kind of backlinks that come your way.
