Using Shortened Links in Funnels / Emails?

Hi All, another beginner question -- I have been using shortened links from a website called short for sharing links on YouTube...would there be any reason to use these shortened links when pasting links into my sales funnel/email content?

As far as I can tell, it would make sense to just paste the full clickbank link in those places since it is possible to mask the link within whatever text I would want whereas on youtube and other social media sites that would not be the case.

One potential thought is that pasting in the full link would reveal my CB user id...but that will be revealed when people click the offer anyway.

Any thoughts on best practices?

Thanks!

Be careful. Some of those smaller link shortener services are blacklisted by Norton and McAfee. It doesn't matter what the Clickbank info is if people think you are a scammer/bad guy/hacker type.

Get your own domain and use that to redirect the links. If you rely on a third-party link-shortening service and it suddenly stops trading, you'll end up promoting a bunch of dead affiliate links lost in cyberspace.
