Change Label To Topic Blogger Label URL

I am not talking about changing the word "Label" to "Topic". What I mean is the suffix 'label' in the URL of the Label. Example: http://xxx.blogspot/search/label/xxxxxx.
I want to replace the word 'label' after 'search'.

        Uh the link DABK left... that's exactly what that will do. And if its not what YOU are looking for you need to better explain what it is you are wanting to accomplish.

        And keep in mind you do NOT want to be doing this for existing pages and posts, or you will end up with a bunch of broken links ( 404 errors )

            And THAT is a totally separate question right?

            You want to use a 301 redirect. If you dont know what this is, or how to do them manually there are plugins for Wordpress sites that make the process "easier"

              No, it's not 301 redirect. I just want to know is there a possible way to change the term "label" to "topic" in Blogger code. Now when you click on any of the posts from the Label list, the URL is : http://xxx.blogspot/search/label/xxxxxx

              I want to change it to: http://xxx.blogspot/search/Topic/xxxxxx

              Is there a way to customize this?

                Yes. And I gave you a link to that. And Savidge told you to do a 301 redirect, so you do not lose juice (because when you change one word in the url, you've changed the whole thing... any links going to the original are lost, unless you create 301 redirects).


                Not sure why you are confused. If you just want to change label to topic on all pages, follow the instructions in the link I posted. If you want something else, say it differently.

                YES its 301 re-direct. You CAN NOT just change the URL to a page. Its that plain and simple. In doing so any links you have associated to that page will return a 404 error. If the page is listed on Google, it wont be for long, AND it will return a 404 error.

                You HAVE to create 301 re-directs if you change the URL it really is no more straight forward than that.
