Facebook ads - Detailed Targeting question

Morning all...
I'm wondering if there are any facebook ads experts on here who could maybe help me out with some advice please?.
I'm an artist based in the uk. I produce mainly abstract silksceen print edtions and i'm attempting to start upping my
website conversions. Most of my sales seem to come from random organic traffic at present and i would like to begin using
facebook ads to deliver more targeted buying traffic to my site. I can't afford to employ someone to do this at the moment until i make some initial progress on this front and get some extra sales under my belt so i'm having to learn the system myself.
If any of you on here could possibly give me some guidance i'll post some further info up..
Many Thanks D

This is quite similar to your previous thread of 2 years ago - what have you done since then?

Yes, I was locked out of this site for quite sometime. I've only just been able to log back in on my new laptop computer. My old one graphics work horse which was a large iMac 27" which was so old that much of the internet wasn't available to me anymore so I've recently upgraded and can now access this site once again.

In answer to your question. I managed to make it through the last couple of years and have continued to develop a lot of new print releases and really master the art of full colour cmyk silkscreen printing which has been a heavy duty learning curve but I seem to have pretty much got it under control it now and it's helping create some interesting outcomes in terms of printmaking. I've been getting some really fantastic feedback from customers which is nice...

I've managed to generate enough sales to pretty much finish off my studio's equipment list so I don't have to worry about that anymore which is a total luxury it has to be said as I've built all the equipment I use and the printing press myself. My focus now is learning how to harness facebook ads to help me start selling more work and matching up what I produce with the right kind of audience. It's quite technical through so I'm seeking advice where I can as I can't really afford to pay someone at the moment to do this for me so I'm gaining tips and knowledge where I can... In an ideal world I'd have someone to send the customers to my website and I could just focus on making prints but I'm going to have to learn this process myself first and then try and make links with someone to partner up with eventually....

Doesn't seem like you were banned though.

No I wasn't banned. My iMac was running a very old version of the Mac OS so I could use my vintage version of photoshop and the old printer driver for my epsom film outputter.

The internet had moved on and the computer did what I needed it in order to produce work but I was just locked out of quite a bit of the internet by not updating the software and browser as it would have cost too much money at the time. I couldn't do anything about upgrading as all my money was going into building my studio equipment. I've only just got hold of a new computer!....

I seem to have found out the info now that I was looking for in terms of facebook ads targeting so I'm going to get stuck into that this week and see what can be achieved.... Fingers crossed it will start to bring in some new customers...
