Difference between Digital Marketing Executive, Analyst and Specialist?

Hi All,

I have been working in the field of digital marketing for over 5 years now. I have been doing content writing, SEO, SMM, paid ads, Google Analytics, Link building, etc, even HTML5 and WordPress.
So currently my job title is Digital Marketer. I wanted to change the title to something more specialized and I came across:
  1. Digital Marketing Executive
  2. Digital Marketing Specialist
  3. Digital Marketing Analyst
And I'm really confused on which title to select. Can anyone tell me the difference and which is the best career choice?
Thanks in advance

Why? What do you hope to accomplish by changing the description?

Executive sounds as if you are 'the boss' which is fine if you have employees...

Specialist is fine, too - but your description pretty much says "I do it all" so what is your specialty?

Analyst is a good word, too - do you analyze what others are doing wrong in their ads?

What 'image' do you want to project - and why?

Why not something more descriptive such as 'digital advertising specialist'?

What you do would fall under Digital Marketing Specialist and Digital Marketing Executive and Digital Marketing Analyst.

The analyst, analyses the data, the results.
The executive plans out stuff, comes up with strategies.
The specialist carries out the plan (while consulting with the analyst).

Why do you want to change the title? If you really want to, look into ziprecruiter of indeed.com ads for various titles to get ideas.

But, unless your new title is going to be The God of Digital Marketing, I will remain unimpressed.

  • Both identifiers are the same, and each corporation uses its own.
A digital marketing analyst is someone who mostly handles analytics-related tasks.
An expert in digital marketing is someone who works across all digital marketing sectors.
However, every business assigns work for all of the digital marketing sectors.

Nah. I called myself an expert digital marketer when I did nothing but SEO and article directory marketing. Nobody objected. Au contraire, they paid me for my expertise in digital marketing.

An, no, both identifiers are not the same. A specialist specializes in something, an executive is a higher level. Can be a specialist too, but an executive, when the word is used properly, comes up with marketing strategies, a specialist, when they do come up with strategies, they do in the area they specialize in, not across all marketing.
