Hello guys.
I'm very pleased to join the warriors in here, even though I'm not a warrior myself(at least at the moment)

So I've been working in marketing for 4 months and I left my job nearly 40 days ago, because I wasn't learning shit.
For the past month I've been trying to learn on myself, I bought some courses on Udemy and I'm building my first website with wordpress, I have also learned a bit about Google and Fb ads, as well as making some posts with Canva for ''organic marketing''.

I don't know how I ended up in the marketing field tbh, I've never even considered it to be a job before, but surprisingly enough, it turns out to be the job that I'm liking the most, out of all other jobs that I've tried before(I'm 23 btw, already feeling old).

I feel like I found what I want to do in life, but at the same time I'm so confused... SEO, Social media, Ads, Website, Affiliate, E-commerce, Copywriting, and on and on. It's so confusing... And in the middle of all this, I open youtube and see people saying they make 15K a month with dropshipping, or 200 per hour with social media or I don't know what the hell else they do.

Personally I like to write, but at the same time I feel like e-commerce and other fields of marketing offer far more opportunities for financial freedom.
Besides that I can't picture myself as someone who is just writing copy all day, if that was the case, I would have become a writer and write my own book titled ''How to fail at everything in life''. I want to get a bit challenged, I like to stretch my brain and my imagination beyond selecting the right words to ''Blow my client's mind in these 5 little steps'' .(no offense to anyone).. I need to create, and bring new ideas, but most importantly I need money, but I currently lack the skills to do so.

If you were to put yourself in my shoes and start from scratch, What would you suggest me to do?

Ps. It would be better if you also took into consideration the fact that in my country people have no idea what digital marketing is, and there is little demand for digital marketing. Also that I'm also in university and half of my day is spent there. Also that I also spend 2 hours at the gym, Also the pressure for my family to start a job and forget about this.

I would really appreciate an answer and I would also very well understand why anyone wouldn't bother looking at the mess I wrote in here.

Thank you!

Do you mean you worked for 4 months total - and then quit over a month ago?
Did the job pay you to do work - or to be learning as in school?

At 23 - there's a good chance you have not yet found what is best for you when it comes to work. What is your education? Did you train or go to school for any particular job/career?

I open youtube and see people saying they make 15K a month with dropshipping, or 200 per hour with social media or I don't know what the hell else they do.
What 'they' do is sell to people who believe the hype. Yes there are those who earn 15k or more a month but often took years to get there.

Personally I like to write, but at the same time I feel like e-commerce and other fields of marketing offer far more opportunities for financial freedom.
"I feel like" isn't a good basis to judge 'fields of marketing'. Have you had marketing success at any level as yet?

. SEO, Social media, Ads, Website, Affiliate, E-commerce, Copywriting, and on and on. It's so confusing...
It's confusing because you are trying to fast forward and you have to learn the processes to 'get it'.

What would you suggest me to do?
Get real. Look for what you CAN do...not what you 'feel like' doing. Do yoy want to create products or sell other people's products? Do you want to freelance as a writer or service provider or build your own site/blog/business?

If you do need money now - get a job and start IM part time. You have looked at the 'big picture' and that's great - now you need to make a plan for what YOU WANT to do, what you need to accomplish that goal, and plant the steps necessary to get what you want. Make an honest assessment of your training/skills/startup funds/timeline, etc. and identify your strengths and what topics/niches appeal to you.

Learn as you go - don't fall for the 'easy money' stuff - ask questions here when you have them.

    Good luck.
