Solo Ads Unfair Practice ! Give Your Views

Hi,
I was talking with a vendor for solo ad.
Here's my question:
Suppose I buy 1000 clicks and I get opt-in of 30%.
This means I get 300 subscribers in my list.
But, I also paid for the 1000 clicks.
So, they should also share the list of people who clicked on my link.

I am not asking the list of people who opened the email. But, at least give the list of people who clicked my link.

This is my thought. Comment and let me know what you feel?

"Not fair' is what children say. Your complaint does not make sense.

You are not buying a 'list of addresses' - you are not buying 'optins' - you are buying 'clicks'. If you buy 1000 clicks and get 3 optins or 300 - you are still only buying clicks.

And - if you find a source of 'clicks' that gives a 30% optin rate, you've found the golden egg.

That's a good view point even though I never asked the question to a solo ad vendor when I buy solo ads. Every time I buy solo ads I only get access to the lead i.e the person opting in .

Maybe you should do some more research to find out if that is a normal practice .

    On the surface, you're right.

Except you conflate you buying clicks with you buying a list of the people who clicked.

You bought clicks not the names or contact info for the people who clicked.

You want more? We can talk price for that too.

I assume you want more because you want to market to the ones who clicked but did not end up on your email list, right?

Well, for an extra price, I can run your ad (or another ad of your choosing) to those people. I can also, outright sell you their info and you can run the ads directly.

Why should I get paid extra? Because you're getting extra and I'm risking losing them (they might decide they're getting too many ads and unsubscribe). The first part and the second part have value to me. And, clearly, you contacting them has value to you. So, let's talk money. How much are you willing to pay, maybe it's enough to make me let you get what you want.

That's how a seller looks at it. I think it makes sense.

Have you noticed that the people who sell coffee and coffee makers charge you for both? Buying a coffee maker and getting the coffee for free is kind of what you're wanting.
