affiliate marketing strategy

Hi guys I'm new to this and wanted to get some quick feedback from you on my strategy. I want to start a blog-with a view to promoting Clickbank products- in a really competitive niche with loads of volume. Using Semrush, I've found a bunch of long tail keywords and questions with good volume, and pretty low KD. I've got about 20 or 30 longtail keywords under 29 keyword difficulty and some under 20.
So my idea is to just keep working on the low keyword difficulty questions.
Is that a reasonable plan? Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I am also new today. Yap keep working on low keyword difficulty is fantastic but you should also try long tail keywords. It also works well.

My everyday regardless of project SEO strategy is exactly this focus on the low com terms first build your sites DA with well positioned pages. Once your site has traction with google you can then start shooting for harder terms

Thank you for sharing your strategy. Focusing on low keyword difficulty questions is a reasonable plan for starting your blog in a competitive niche. However, remember to prioritize quality content, diversify your content types, build an email list, promote on social media, and track your performance. Best of luck!

    Sincerely,

Clickbank is a great way to make money, but you need
to do more than set up a single blog, regardless of your
    keyword strategy.

Back in the day, around 2002, I set up a five-page site
to promote a certain Clickbank niche. I used a keyword
domain name and slapped some relevant content on it
and placed six related Clickbank products on there.

It was an information product and I got lucky because
the niche was evergreen and in demand. I didn't get rich
from that but whenever I got a check, it was for several
hundred dollars, sometimes it was over a thousand.

I didn't get checks every month, but I was still working
full-time and had an additional side hustle besides CB
and the job, so I didn't need the money, but it came in
handy, as money tends to do.

I never promoted the site or anything, I just ensured the
CB links were good every once in awhile, that was all.
That site is still going today.

IMO, the days of putting up a single site and making
money from it are over. If you want to generate income
from affiliate marketing these days you need multiple
authority sites that you are heavily promoting, or sites
on topics and products that are in great demand.

Today you have to fire on all cylinders to earn your
commissions and it's smarter to promote big ticket
items so you can get larger commissions, those
    are affiliate products besides CB.

Clickbank is a great place to start but then you have
to build on things to earn real money that you can
    pay the bills with.

Good luck to you, work on your business as much
as you can, and I would encourage you to read
and learn as much as possible from books, this
    forum and elsewhere.

Different things work for different people but you
        know what really works?

        WORKING works.

If you think that writing content and directing it
to your website(s) will help your sales, then get
busy doing that, because that is the only way
that you are going to find out.

I guess that's all I've ever really tried to do. Create websites and write content to drive traffic to those websites where I sold affiliate products. Which brings up another point as I'm starting to look into this again. I use to write "articles" and submit those articles all over. Is that a thing of the past? How are people getting their content out all over theses days?

If this forum's anything to go by, increasingly they're using AI to create generic dollops of "content" hoping that sheer quantity will somehow compensate for a lack of quality and originality. Trying to compete with them on their terms will be a long and arduous process, I fear.

If you know your topic, I'd suggest you concentrate on building your authority via your websites and subscription lists. Far better to be invited to contribute to related sites and newsletters than blasting out articles hoping to be discovered among the noise.

Also, check out the other ways your market might prefer to consume content these days, and where they hang out. You might find find most of them aren't actually looking for articles.

I think you made a great decision using a blog to drive traffic and build awareness .

If I was you I would expiriment writing review blogs and then repurpose your content plus building a email list to see how many people follow and or subscribe .

Try doing a google search of the words then scroll to the bottom for the other main relevant keywords surrounding your search.

Take a stab at doing a google search of the words then, at that point, look to the base for the other primary pertinent catchphrases encompassing your pursuit.

Yes, keep working on longtail keywords. They are highly effective. My recommendation is to use Ahref for a clear path
