Seeking WP Booking Plugin Advice

Hello all,
I hope this is where this post belongs. This is my first time posting. Well, second. My first was removed because I didn't title it correctly. It was placed in the beginners area.

I'm 4 months into an Account Manager position at an agency and have been tasked to find a plugin for a WordPress site using Beaver Builder for an account.

They are a city run campground and are looking for a way to make reservations online, but also want to be able to manually make reservations for people who stop into city hall in person.

They have not liked any of my suggestions so far. They don't like the booking sites I have sent them as they require a per-reservation fee (~$3). I did find one plugin called Motopress that seems to fit the bill, but after more research it is looking like they will need another page built and I don't think they will like the sound of that since it will cost more money. This plugin would cost them $90 and they agreed but I can tell they aren't happy about having to pay. At least they understand these things aren't free...

Have any of you ran into a plugin that can be of use here? I'm extremely grateful for any suggestions.

    Ben - I moved this to a different section where it is perhaps more likely to be seen by the people who might be able to help. I think the previous thread was a mixup.



    I have no idea what plugin might work but you may need to find the 'most likely ' 2-3 possibilities and let the clients decide what they can live with. Maybe the $3 fee could become a cancellation fee instead? They could hire someone to create the perfect plugin but i doubt they would want to pay for that.

    I don't have any advice about the plug-in, you should
    probably check out some campground websites and
    see what they are using, or visit a campground forum
    and ask there.

    Setting up an additional WordPress page shouldn't
    be that complicated. Either hire a freelancer to do it,
    or see if someone within the agency can get it done.

    Not for this project but in the future, I recommend you
    learn basic WordPress skills. It is easy to learn, and
    WP will add value to your skill set in countless ways.

    I am a web developer, I work with HTML as well as
    WP, and knowing how to setup websites has been
    priceless for me.

    I'm not sure who "they" are, whether it's your agency
    or the clients, but I would present them with 2 or 3
    plug-in choices and say they are the best options
    available. If what you give them meets their criteria
    then there shouldn't be anything to balk about.

    Get this done quickly, develop a stellar image at
    your agency, and don't let a single project frustrate
    or bog you down.

    I appreciate your reply. We do have a design team here so they could probably build it but yes, the campground would balk I'm sure. We work mainly in Beaver Builder through WordPress. I never thought about joining a campground forum! I will do that for sure! Thank you so much!

    I would contact Motopress and see if the plugin works independently, or it is integrated with Campterra. I am going to say after a moment of digging the campsite features are just customized from their hotel booking plugin ( that is a self contained plugin. )

    Motopress is a kinda way to go most of the time but isn't flexible enough for lots of things. Even the invoice PDF customization and custom field are not included in the main plugin. Check out other plugins (WP amelia) or use a simple form plugin.
