A very general question - growth of what? Motivation to do what?

THINK AND GROW RICH by Napoleon Hill is an all time best selling classic for personal development, financial goal setting and professional development. A pdf copy can readily be found via search engines.

If you are unfamiliar with it, start at Chapter 12 and 13, the Sub-Conscious mind and Active Imagination. Then go to the front. I'd say a very large % of Personal Development can find its roots in this work.

I also suggest ONE book at time, to fully digest the ideas and USE them before moving to the next thing.

    The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity

    by

    Catherine Ponder

She has additional books but that is her main book.

There are other books by different authors, but this is the one for me.

  • Not in a particular order:

    1. Holy scriptures (Christian)
    2. Anything by Denis Waitley for personal growth
    3. Anything by John Maxwell for leadership in both life and business
    4. Success magazine
    5. A variety of others including Steven Covey, Dale Carnegie, Warrior forum

I didn't list the IM gurus I still follow because I think that if personal strength isn't there, business success won't be complete no matter who you follow. I know that others disagree but that's my two cents.

I like Seth Godin's book. But there's one book that I always recommend to everyone because of it's clear message. It's "the one thing" - not Seth's book though

Just finished "Do It Today" by Darius Foroux! If you're into boosting productivity, this book is a gem. Foroux, a stellar blogger, packs his wisdom into a structured, motivation-packed read. Feels like insightful articles rolled into one! (link removed by mod per forum rules)
