YouTube Channel Beginner - Seeking advice and help

Ive started a new youtube channel and decided to join here to get any advice people could provide on improving it and turning it into a profitable venture.

The niche is Lottery Tickets (scratchies).

I have created one video so far and obviously can improve a lot on the first video but we all have to start somewhere.

I learnt a lot on the first video and will look to make some big improvements in the second video but I think as a start it was not too bad.

The videos cost about $20 for the tickets and its a bit of fun. If I can get youtube revenue to cover the cost of the tickets I would call this channel a success. So any advice you can provide on getting monetized quicker, improving the watch time and getting more views would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any advice people provide.

YouTube is great. I've done a few videos and usually market the link or html code depending on the platform I'm on. I've seen the scratcher thing on Tik Tok before.

    Congratulations on your YouTube video.

Entire books have been written about the questions
that you are asking, and I hate to keep telling people
this, but you probably need to read a book or spend
some time researching what successful YouTubers
    are doing.

There are probably a million other people trying to
do the exact same thing as you EVERY DAY, so
    good luck.

My advice is to keep making more videos because
most successful YouTubers have hundreds of them,
and in the meanwhile you should think of ways to
monetize your videos until you start earning actual
    YouTube checks.

Maybe you will get lucky with a scratchie.

Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean, and I am working through all the usual tips. My main approach at the moment is networking within the niche as the community tends to follow each other, and looking to make being consistent my routine.

As you said, who knows I may hit it big on a scratchie. But right now my first major goal is to get just enough to cover the ticket cost which would be a huge win.

      Really appreciate the reply.

I was just looking for something else at ClickBank,
so I searched for lottery offers and there are a few
but the gravity isn't that great.

Look for related affiliate offers that you can put in
your descriptions and try to make some money
        that way.
